I'm so glad you liked the story about my paternal grandparents, thanks very much for the comments and stars. I do look more like my grandfather by the way.

Today was yet another day spent watching the Olympics, the 10 km speed skating for men was another three-fold victory for the Dutch sportsmen, unbelievable.
In between I captured this week's cut flowers amongst which this deep mauve tulip.
And I played with textures, the background is mixed with Fantin from French Kiss Textures.
