Ghost Cat

My first journal entry had to be of one of my constant companions, Cicely.

We've had her for a few years. One of her favourite places is the window in the room where I work. It's dirty both on the inside and outside, largely because I'm rather lazy at cleaning this room, but also because Cicely gets bothered by the goings on in the garden- birds, leaves, raindrops and most irritating of all, other cats. She tends to press her nose and paws against the glass at times of extreme annoyance. We've found paw prints and smears on the outside of the window too, so the interest from feline garden intruders is obviously mutual.

We got Cicely to replace a previous cat, one who died far too young. Seven was also a Somali and thus looked fairly similar, but was a very different cat in nature.
