Sugarloaf Mountain

It was our last day in Rio today and also our last day in South America (not including those we're soon to spend either in a plane or in an airport).

We went up sugarloaf mountain in the cable cars this morning and the views were exquisite. It was a nice way to finish in Rio as from up the top we could see the city, the surrounding mountains, the oceans, islands and of course Copacabana beach.

Also on top of sugarloaf was a small walk upon which we found a family of small monkeys and some wonderful flora. The monkeys were adorable and rather used to tourists as we were able to get quite close.

We then headed back to our hotel, showered, packed and moved our stuff downstairs into the lobby. We had some lunch and then waited. Finally in the afternoon our bus arrived and we went to the airport to wait some more.

Only two days to go, but admittedly all the exciting ones are over.
