At Georges Chapel, Woolwich, which was reduced to a roofless shell after being hit by a V1 Flying bomb in 1944. The striking frieze of St George and the Dragon, has lasted surprisingly well considering...

It did receive a £400,000 grant in 2011, and was supposed to be completed prior to the Olympic games see here, but little appears to have been done to help preserve this Grade II listed building, other than a temporary roof over the alter and being fenced off...
