Ready, Steady...

Looking calmly confident at the last hurdle, nearing the end of a dynamic performance all eyes were on the popular Lavinia Ladybird or LL as she is affectionately known on the slopes.

With the sun glistening down of the snow this morning and with temperatures below zero, Team Ladybird were battling it out in the Ladies Cross-Country Skiing and Jump event.

Lavinia here after finding the gruelling cross-country challenging to say the least was now looking down at the finishing post with a medal almost in sight. Exhausted but determined; ready ..... on the edge of the final precipitous leap. Having come so far, the stadium was holding it's breath.....all became quiet.....

Leap she did! Clamerous applause greeted her flying in to the arena! What a moment to remember!
