A very long night in A&E. Thankfully a suspected heart attack became a very nasty chest infection that was putting pressure on Mum's already poorly heart. We were finally discharged at 5am and after getting Mum into bed and making sure the girls were fine, I managed a couple of hours sleep before getting up to get organised for our journey home. It was awful having to leave Mum so unwell on her own and we said a very tearful goodbye. Fran came to London with us, our plans to wander around Covent Garden put on hold for another time and we had a quick Starbucks before the girls and I caught our train. Amazingly I got a lot of work done on the train which stopped me worrying too much about Mum. Nick met us at the station and whisked us home for a hot meal and bed.
