This uniquely designed bowl was handcrafted by a homeless veteran friend.
He, in spite of issues that challenge him, always maintains a cheerful manner and a humble spirit. He, to me, is an icon of pressing on.

We owe a debt to our veterans...
...to the fallen,
and to our troops who defend us,
and certainly to those vets who carry the burden, and yet press on.
