Wings and Things

Is my lunch ready yet?

Part of the freeloader crowd waiting for their corn. They live in the park where the aviary is located. A few domestic geese and ducks (cast-offs from irresponsible people) live in the park where the aviary is located year-round. They have a huge spring-fed pond and acres of grass, but when winter approaches they "approach" and follow me around till I feed them! They are joined by migrating Mallards and American Wigeons who later move on. Now there is a Canada Goose that will probably become a permanent resident, he/she has an injured wing and can't fly.
