Bernard the Chimney sweep

We've had a very silly pigeon stuck up our chimney for the last 3 days and no amount of coaxing or force could get it out, so 82 year old Bernard came to the rescue and after removing part of the fireplace and judicial use of a pleasingly traditional looking chimney sweeps brush Stupid the pigeon was extracted. Bernard assured us he would immediately revive when thrown into the air. He did not and crashed sadly to the ground and hobbled off up the street flowed by the boys. Happy to report that he summonsed the energy to flap up into a tree.
