Predator!

We saw photos of our friend whom we gave the tickets for Mamma Mia in the Hotel with her 8 year old son and friend's Daughter. They were looking well pleased with themselves and looking forward to going to the theatre. I am so pleased that we managed to give them away to someone who would not normally be able to afford a treat like that. Makes me feel really happy.

Not only is Eleanor still in a lot of pain, but Claire did her back in whilst getting ready this morning and also spent the day in bed! So not only did I go to the office, but had a heck of a busy day as well!

A few years ago on a trip to France, we visited Belgium to get tobacco for Claire - I don't partake and hate it! But that's another story!

We found this little tobacconist and in a large conservatory they had all manner of strange things. Which included various versions of this predator, aliens, Gollum and many others. They ranged from about 1ft to 8ft high. We both fell in love with this fella who is over 3ft tall. He is made from scrap car and motorbike bits. I think the design and build is totally awesome.

The artist has since passed away, but in my opinion left an amazing legacy. Most of which he did for nothing. During the time since he started doing this a number of others have copied his work.
