PLEASE, PLEASE, OH PLEASE!

Our cameras caught up with Sally, of Team Squirrel, waiting for her scores to be posted on the board this afternoon. She had just finished a fabulous display of grace and athleticism in her outstanding Figure Skating routine. All of her hopes and dreams are tied up in this moment. Here, in dated footage, we see Sally practicing her arabesque before breaking into her triple lutz.

Look who showed up wanting to be part of the Olympics! Ricky, of Team Racoon, (a team of one) was noticed skulking around the Village last night. When asked which sports he’d be participating in, Ricky said he could do anything the squirrels can do, including Nordic Peanut Shucking and the Alpine Tree Climb. Won’t Team Squirrel be surprised to find Ricky as their competition?!

I did not know that Pole Dancing was now recognized as an Olympic sport. June, of Team Junco, appears to be the crowd favorite with her fine-tuned routine. Someone who hasn’t missed a minute of June’s performances is spectator, Ted the Red. He appears to be totally enthralled with her.
