Osage County

Part of an evening of dramatic/darkly comic films (also saw 'Inside Llewyn Davies') I was fairly impressed by this adaptation of the play, mostly due to the performances by the cast - the story itself left a little to be desired; sometimes I can get on board with films that don't seem to go anywhere, but this time my brain disagreed and demanded some kind of sense from it - there was a resolution of sorts, but I think it would have been better served with the same cast performing this on stage rather than in front of the camera.
