Packing for America

We had a lot of packing to do today, but I was bored so we went to playgroup, only to find the door locked! The vicar was fetched from the cafe over the road and we went in. There was nobody there but when we had got a few bikes and cars out, people started arriving slowly: a boy who wouldn't play chase, A, and another family of two.
We met another of Mummy's ex-colleagues for lunch (soup, butter, scone, milk, rice cakes) and she was kind enough to accompany us home, read me books and even hold Baby.
Mummy got the Thomas sleeping bag out but I didn't feel like a nap, otherwise I'd swear a tiger must've been here: there was no hot water for a bath!
