Could have done with a tank and some toy soldiers to give it a hint of the epic. But there were no Normandy Landings on the Kelvin this afternoon, as we marched single-file along the bank and over the bridge to Shoppers' Paradise. Or the Oxfam bookshop as it is more usually known.
