THE LOTUS FLOWER...

We had so much fog this morning that my mother's plane was delayed, but they arrived safe at 1.15 still in time to have lunch with my son and niece.

As I had some extra time to spare I thought I would visit the Botanical Gardens where the lovely water lilies are still in bloom.

This Lotus flower is huge with the big flat leaves that rise out of the water in the middle of the pond.

The goldfish are growing too, from the small wee dots that they were a few weeks back to quite good sizes.
