TV Lit

I was contemplating doing my first project on self-portraits, even though I was worried that might come across a bit self-absorbed. I also was trying to tackle a theme of loneliness, which is not an easy thing to portray photographically. These were taken very late at night and lit only by the TV.

Also, isn't there something totally wonderful about renting a crazy funky house that's already furnished with things like this couch and lamp? I loved everything about living in this house, with none of these things being mine, even though I would make very different choices in my own home. What is that? Is it just freeing?
