English Girl in Berlin

By EnglishRose

Rue Cadet

I walked in to Paris this morning via the Palais Garnier (the opera house) and several of the city’s ‘passages’ (early shopping arcades from the early 19th century), including Jouffroy, Verdeau, des Princes, Colbert and Vivienne, each beautiful in their own unique way.

Lunch from Maison Castro was consumed sitting in the sunshine in the Jardin du Palais Royal before meeting E.

E and I went to the Musee de l’Orangerie to see Monet’s Nympheas (water lilies) which were spectacular.

This evening T arrived and we had Mexican night.
