Olé from the Gipsy Kings at the Albert Hall

The GKs were on top form. A bit wrinkly and well fed, but the 10 piece band thrashed it out at a frenetic pace and wowed the audience with their famous songs at the end. The audience varied from the old to the young and most were up clapping and dancing. The balcony was positively bouncing up and down. I rather suspect that they must have awoken Albert from his slumbers.

We hoped that they might play their interpretation of 'Hotel California', but I guess they wanted to stick to their own stuff, rather than songs they probably considered a bit of a joke.
