Paranoia

Happened to look up while taking a shortcut into the office via the utility room door. I was struck by the contrast of the clear blue sky against the geometry of the utilitarian facade (only relatively recently fitted for intelligence gathering).

'Newfoundland Modern' architecture has been acknowledged as a unique marker from the province's construction boom of the 60's and 70's. The use of concrete (in this case precast panels) and simple lines are predominate features of the genre - usually not beautiful but certainly recognizable.

Ever so slightly enhanced for contrast, saturation and detail in Snapseed. (I tried some of my more extreme manipulations and, although I liked them, thought this composition could stand on its own.)
