Angelic Alien

Had class this evening, and our instructor brought in flowers and different lighting setups for us to practice on. This orchid is the same sort as mine at home, so this looks like the same flower as yesterday, but it's not.

Since it was so similar to yesterday's post, I decided to play around with it in Silver Efex. I discovered that in mono the focus goes to the flowing lines and form, and though not as striking as in color, it takes on a strange, almost human or angelic form, but the face seems alien. But then, I suppose angels are alien?
