Dancing Starlings

We had the most amazing walk today all around Uffington White Horse Hill. It was the first chance I've had to wear my new boots that I was given for my birthday for my charity walk and the sun shone down on us beautifully.

Of course, a large lunch in the White Horse Inn followed.....yum!

This picture was taken while the sun took a break behind the clouds and feels very evocative to me. The Starlings were dancing around the sky as they do, the sheep oblivious to their beauty. I came over all Cathy in Wuthering Heights for a moment and then returned to Laura Ingalls from Little House On The Prairie when the sun came back! Oh the drama of it all ;0)
