House in Douglas Row, Inverness.

There are a lot of lovely old houses along Douglas Row, but from a former and distant career in an Edinburgh surveyors office, I very much doubt there'd be a mortgage available for this one. Apart from the street propensity to be flooded by the River Ness, which it overlooks, this house looks to have been suffering from some settlement, or subsidence. The front wall appears to be leaning backwards in places, and the stonework around the windows is all at, er... 'interesting' angles. Outside is a bit neglected too, though things may well be fine within.

Of course my own home couldn't be described as perfect either... not by any means!
