Sir Roo the Dragon Lord ......

Day 417 - ...... and also the 'real' sheriff of Warwick!

A much needed Roo and Boo day trip to the wonderful Warwick Castle. It may be a little on the pricey side but go during the holidays when there tonnes of activities and it's well worth the money.

The boy certainly got his worth by being chosen not once, but twice, by the actors to participate in the events. First, he had special powers to bring a magic staff to life and helped cast a spell to summon Merlin's dragon (he, along with the other small children, was terrified, but he manned up and was a brave Dragon Lord).

Secondly, we just happened to be passing a lovers tiff involving barbaric cabbages and was called upon by Ratsy to defend him in the dispute. So then he became the 'real' sheriff of Warwick and had to settle the argument with some rat tossing (no animals were harmed during the making of this shenanigans).

There were countless photo ops with the characters including today's blip of the Duelling Gents the chap in the red was Roo's hero!

There is so much to say about the day but the rest in short - proud peacocks; several steep and winding staircases in several towers and several vertigo inducing views; birds of prey nearly on our heads on the turrets (no exaggeration and was almost today's blip); a spooky Gaol; wooden swords, bows n arrows; bear pits; bowman; ice cream topped donuts..........

'The best day of my life' was the summary from the boy so very much most probably the best (012) of the #100happydays!!!!
