Light the Dark

When I arrived in Hobart tonight, the first thing I saw was a Light the Dark gathering in support of asylum seekers and to protest against their treatment by our government who demonizes them and calls them 'illegal'. Hopefully these gatherings and all the other protests around the nation this weekend will not fall on deaf ears and will rapidly change the disgraceful way we treat these people.
