Post-penguin weighing cuppa

Following a very muddy and cold session weighing Macaroni chicks we piled into the Fairy Point Hut for a warm up.

The chick weighing allows us to get a general idea of how healthy the fledglings are and so ideas about how well the feeding has been through the season and what their chances of survival at sea are. Despite a tough year for several species down here the Macs were a reasonable weight, comparing favourably with previous years.
