Bulbs?

Today while doing our 'food' shop for the week I spotted this lovely container. I just had to have it to add to my window display at work, but look, the description just says 'bulbs'.

Well even I can see that but what are they? I asked 4 members of staff at this well known store, the last was even an Assistant Manager, but not one of them could tell me or apparently find out for me what actual bulbs have been planted in this container.

What the heck, we bought it anyway! Now, I can't wait to see what flowers blossom from within.
