Snow in the hood

There's a lovely arbutus tree in front of our house. Today, after a good dump of snow overnight, the branches have been decorated with snow. It has highlighted the beauty of the wiggly patterns that these trees excel at.

The snow is very deep up where we are. So deep that one of our neighbours popped over to let us know he has four wheel drive and if we're out of anything he's happy to run us into town. He'd already been and had the coffee to prove it! The roads lower down the hill are pretty clear, but there's no sign of a snow plough up our way.
