The Santa Cruz High boys basketball team won the league championship in an overtime thriller, 72-69. One of the stars of the team is a best friend of our grandson and we have known the boy being lifted up in the photo since first grade. Although they didn't sit with us, our two grandkids were in the stands with their peers and it was fun watching them in the middle of it all.
