Great Crested Grebe

I had to creep up on this one as they don't usually stay around the edge of the lake for long.

At the end of my walk where the ducks and swans gather for food from the public I spied this one diving so just waited for it to surface. Hence a little low in the water and lots of water droplets on its feathers.

Lovely sunshine this morning, which made all the difference to my walk and the light on this shy bird.
