Drinking at dawn

No light yet, so sorry for the bad quality, but the Northern Flicker comes when he feels like it, not when I want him to come!

After having his breakfast at the suet feeder, he flew down and helped himself to the water from my pond...here he is throwing his head back to swallow.

He's always a delight to see, even if it's dark and through a double-pane window!!!
