The mark, the dreaded mark

Professor Bernard Quatermass: "Dillon, there's something on your face!"

This industrial facility rather reminds me of the mysterious and enormous industrial plant, protected by armed guards, that featured in Quatermass 2.

This will all mean nothing whatsoever to those of you who weren't glued to your flickering black and white sets in the Autumn of 1955, watching BBC Television .
