Ice melting away

This winter was surprisingly short - basically only January - and then it was over. At the moment there is hardly any snow at Tyven, and the ice is rapidly melting away on the lake. The blue thing on the left sticks out like a sore thumb. In A's words 'Does it really matter what colour the rope is that's tied to the jetty?' - Well, here it's easy to see that it does matter!

The first day of my winter holiday was spent on some domestic chores, plus surfing the net for fashion. I need a long evening dress for the festivities in June, but could not find anything, yet. Maybe I do not know where to look?
