Big sky, big water!

After a busy morning - yes, I finally got the power washing finished - MaggieD and I went off seeking fresh air, blips etc. We were undecided as to direction but ended up at Lake of Menteith. It is ways a peaceful spot, even in the busy season. Today, the water was not only lapping along the sides of the jetty but was actually lapping over it!
The two main rivers running across the Carse of Stirling, the Forth and the Teith, are both very swollen and a fair acreage of farmland is underwater. Although nowhere near as bad as much of Southern England, it is still unusual to see what looks paddy fields!
