Take A Stand

Despite having my back to the botanical gardens, and flanked by opera house to one side and the pavilion gardens buildings to the other, this was what caught my eye today.
The humble bandstand.
Does it even class as a building, or is it just a structure?
Either way, I think it's a fine looking, if somewhat breezy venue from which to entertain the crowds.
But not today.
Today the only crowds I saw were huddled together behind steamy windows in the pavilion gardens cafe.
