Full Circle

After reading an interesting theory about the identity of Andy's mum, I had a little Toy Story Easter egg hunt. The theory is that Andy's mum is actually Emily, the girl who left Jessie abandoned by the roadside in Toy Story 2. That explains why Andy wears a Jessie hat rather than a Woody hat. His mum gave him her Jessie hat. When she put her toys in the box in Toy Story 2, the box was not big enough to contain the hat, so she probably kept it. Possibly Andy inherited the Woody doll from his father.

Other Easter eggs in Toy Story 3 I found were Sid, all grown up as a dustbin man, and Boo (from Monster, Inc.) as a toy wrecking child at Sunnydale Kindergarten.
