Harris Tweed

Leith's Ocean Terminal is one of those bland and dreary shopping centres where old people kill time by watching a procession of fraught parents wheeling push chairs, and youngsters skive off school to hang around with their mates. Its only claim to fame is as the host to the Royal Yacht Brittania, a destination billed for some unfathomable reason as Scotland's best tourist attraction. It all depends on your definition of best, I suppose.

I was only there today for an emergency purchase - despite a lifetime of shopping, I discovered that I still had nothing to wear.

Hiding amongst the collection of fast food restaurants and anodyne chain stores, I found a quite interesting exhibition of Textile Photography.
