Left Of Leftfield (recording)

We've just recorded shows 32, 33 & 34. We began the podcast just over 2 years ago. It's a silly but fun show in which people write to us with dilemmas, problems or concerns, and we find left of leftfield solutions. We also have an inventions round where two crazy things actually exist and one is made up, the other has to guess which one is made up. And at the end we talk about something we've seen, done, read, experienced lately that we recommend.

Mark is my best mate, and in many ways the podcast was a way of ensuring we see each other more often. We record it on the microphone we're holding (no it's not an award - though of course we deserve one) in my hotel room, and we record it once a month. Then we edit it, cut out the things we're not allowed to say, and we make it sound as slick and professional as we can. Pete Duggal then improves the sound quality for us.

I'm very proud of the show, and it's a perfect antidote to writing it. It's off the cuff, made up, live and a good laugh. We make each other laugh so much, and that comes across in the listening.

I don't know where I'd be without Mark. He's the best friend a guy could have. Ferociously loyal, unremittingly kind, decent to his core, taller than a man should be, and my perfect night away from the family.
