Apple Pie #2 Woopee!!!

Surely it must be time to visit the Megalong Tea Rooms again and hop into a piece of that amazingly decadent Apple Pie! Well, it didn't take much to convince us that it was a good plan of action for today, so we headed down there for lunch.

We decided to dine alfresco and it was just so pleasant sitting under the gum trees with the sheep grazing in the field beyond. Honestly this Apple Pie is fantastic. I blipped it early in January, but thought it might be a good theme to cover from time to time. Nothing like a gourmet Apple Pie theme! Oh, by the way, NB: There are two spoons on the table - we were sharing!!

I have added some images on my Blipfolio of the tea rooms and in particular an extreme CLOSE UP of the Apple Pie!! (That's for your benefit Mrs C!!) As you will see it's a very rustic rural setting and that's one of the great things that we love about this particular tea rooms.

It's always busy and they boast about the fact that they are open every day of the year, except Christmas Day. We love the fact that you can go down there, just because you have the urge and know that they will be open.

Forgive me for adding another image to my Blipfolio, but GUESS WHO TURNED UP AT HAPPY HOUR LAST NIGHT!! Yes Wally made another appearance and it was obvious he was happy to drink from outside the Billabong this time. It was just on dusk when I looked outside and saw Wally's dear little head just popping up by the side of the tank. Rushed upstairs this time and took a few images from above. I had already published my Blip for the day, but thought I should give Wally a mention anyway. It is so heartwarming to think that we can provide some comfort for these beautiful creatures. It's so obvious to us that water is so important for them. It's the least we can do!
