Replacing the Floor

My current project, which seems to have taken forever, is replacing the termite damaged floor in one of our bedrooms. It has been quite a significant task because I added ant capping around the old fire place as well as reconstructed some of the timbers. The old fire place was just rubble filled which provided easy access to termites.

Whilst it looks like there is still a lot to do I am getting close to the end. My son-in-law dropped over and gave me a hand today which was a real encouragement, especially when it came to sharing a beer! I am hoping tomorrow to get most of the flooring down.
