Brave Little Soldiers!

What a surprise this morning in the garden. I have only just noticed. They have probably been there a few days but as you can see by the state of the ground it has not been fit to wander around looking at flowers. Our garden tends to be soggy at the best of times but after this winter I'm surprised anything has survived - except pond plants which are doing very well!
