Moon and Venus

I was dragged to the window in my dressing gown to see this at about 6.45am this morning, so here's todays shot.

I've since done some research and the phenomenon is known as an occultation, so I've learned something new today too!

We didn't actually see the Moon pass in front of Venus - that would have been much to early for me!
