Double take

I don't know if these two signs once pointed in different directions but if not, the second one seems a bit superfluous. I think a lot of people who travel the M1 regularly think that Newport Pagnell is just a motorway service station, but there is quote a pleasant town here too. This common is popular with walkers and dog owners and is really convenient, being only about 200 yards from the High Street.
