No 159: Velvet Scoter

We had the most brilliant day's birding in Musselburgh today thanks to DaveH. We saw lots of wonderful birds, including Long-Tailed Ducks and a Slavonian Grebe, either of which would have been a new bird blip, Red-breasted Mergansers, Curlews, Bar-tailed Godwits, Goldeneyes, Skylarks, Eider, and more Oystercatchers than I had thought existed. Thank you, Dave! for a terrific time. Meeting up again with him and Meles - aka Mrs DaveH this evening for some refreshment in Leith.
