Painting day

Well, it was supposed to be painting day. But I am just too achey to contemplate it. We did get out to Arundel Wetlands Centre for a while at lunchtime and enjoyed a stroll around the areas that aren't flooded.

My grand-daughter (8) came this afternoon, but we didn't paint as usual. She'd had a commission for one of her paintings and we packaged it up ready to post it off. We'd taken photos to go along with it and she wrote a letter to the buyer. Then she was excited to go off on a trip to the post office to post it herself. We're planning what she calls 'drippy painting' next week as a bit of lighthearted fun.
