#DSBNPinkShirtDay

We were awash in a sea of pink pride today as 36,000 students plus 4,000 staff wore pink T-shirts, making an important fashion statement about bullying.

Every school had activities relating to anti-bullying, while about 400 students who were chosen by their schools to represent them had a special day.

They had a day of team building, engaging speakers and special mission: to develop an anti-bullying initiative that they could bring back and implement in their school.

Students had a great day, made new connections, had a great day of learning and of course, along the way, inspired all of us.
