Someone Special

R was asked to do a speech to his class about someone special. With help from Mum, he thought about all the nice things about his Granpa.

He came home yesterday with a big smile, and looking very proud of himself after doing his talk. He showed Jim's Scottish Vets 1991 Road Race Champion Jersey, and passed this trophy around the class so all of the kids got to hold it.

I think it's nice when they make homework enjoyable and personal :)
