Sitting ......

...... in the sun.

This is the front of Glasgow's Mitchell Library. It is one of Europe's largest public reference libraries and is housed in a fine building. Unfortunately it now overlooks the M8 as it carves its way through the city and over the Clyde.

I don't think that this is Mr. Mitchell - a tobacco baron whose bequest financed the original library. I don't expect that he sat about in the sun.
