Cold and wet today. I went to the greenhouse to pick the tomatoes and was surprised to find small worker bumblebees sitting about doing nothing. Usually they are frantically working. They must have had the day off because of the rain. This one was sitting on the white frost cloth I keep in there.

At the Ellerslie Flower Show the other day I saw a bumblebee nest in a Perspex box. I put a photo of it here, third picture down.
