Pathfinder

We had a school trip today to RAF Wyton to look at the Heritage Museum especially the Pathfinder exhibition. It had been organised by one of the volunteers at school who is connected with the museum. Lots to look at and luckily we had a guide who explained everything and answered the constant barrage of questions. I was especially interested in how they had developed ariel photography in WWll. I photographed one of the cameras they used which was vast, but liked this close up of the uniform better. The badge at the bottom represented being part of the pathfinder team. It was theirs to keep once 30 missions had been accomplished.

Probably not the most child orientated place, but our kids behaved fantastically - but then they always do. Even the bus driver who blagged his way into the museum was very impressed with them. I think because the school is in one of the most deprived areas of the city people have low expectations of the children, but they are fantastic kids.

After school finally picked a new pair of spex. Being brave and going to try verifocals again.
