Scott Monument from Waverly Market

It was a beautiful spring day in Edinburgh today to mark the last day of the meteorological winter. I reckon that spring actually starts at the equinox, so still plenty of time for snow and frost. There are crocuses out everywhere and they were tempting for a blip. By the canal, there is an area with a lot of printed areas saying "In this place I would love" and room for people to add their thoughts. I almost blipped the one that ends "to never be run by Tories again", as a result of the rather silly idea from Peter Bone MP, to rename the August Bank Holiday in England and Wales to Margaret Thatcher Day. FFS what was all that about? I rather like this slightly unusual view of the Scott Monument from Waverly Market (or whatever it's called now).
